No hidden catch no strings attached just free love... In LOVE with DEPECHE MODE
Hello,
my name is Mike Gelsinger and I`m from Austria. I have been a fan of Depeche Mode since I was very young. Their first single was „New Life“ which I was already listening to unconsciously on the radio, when I was 3 years old. Ever since Depeche Mode guided me through the highs and lows of my life. I'm most thankful for the support the music has given me. It serves as a pillar in my life and gives me strength and joy, makes me laugh and cry. I'm a proud owner of more than 800 DM articles. Firstly Vinyls in 7inch and 12inch, as well as CD's, Books, MCs, VHS, DVD's an so on. A tiny snipped of my collection is shown in the image below.
In 2008 I expanded my affection, by working approx. 1000 hours on my Vespa, planning and redesigning it as a homage to DM, expressing how thankful I am. I've built
some original creations for the Vespa, like a new stand ,decorated with roses, engravings, and a sound system, just to name a few. Even the mirror is handmade and modelled after the “Exciter”
album. Every single item is unique, made with love for the details and good vibes. An Airbrush-artist, who happens to be a friend of mine, refined the Vespa in high precession. Please, please

I'm in the Music-business for 20 years now. Mostly thanks to the influence the band had on me. I had no choice. Alias DJ Mike Vinyl, my roots are in playing
Electronic Music. Aside from that I'm active as a Producer and Event Organizer. Over the last ten years I've been hosting Depeche Mode tribute Parties regularly, in my hometown Steyr (see
leaflet). As a celebrated DJ and musician in Steyr I tried to give the people an understanding of the music of Depeche Mode. The DM listnership in my hometown grew strong and you can see a
lot of Depeche People here :)
What else to say – I can't put down in words what it would mean to me to experience the Band in such a distinctive setting. For sure it would be one of the most
exiting things and of priceless personal value. If I´m honest - my biggest wish for years, is getting my pressures Vespa autographed by DM themselves. It would be a dream coming
true.

My Depeche Mode Record Collection
I have more than 800 Depeche Mode Article. Vinyls, CDs, MCs, VHS, DVDs, Books and so on. My Vinylcollection includes 7inches, 12inches in different ways. Original Pressings from UK, US (sire) pressings, German, Japan and so on. Always when I´m on holidays I`m searching for a recordstore and check out if they have Depeche Mode Records.
On the pic you can see just a part of my collection. Specially my 7 inch collection is not on the pics as also my VHS and so on... I collect since arround 15 years.
Our Depeche Mode Tribute Partys
Once a year I present a tribute night here in my hometown Steyr. This events are non profit events and we present this without a line up etc. it*s a pure tribute to Depeche Mode. Here 2 pics from the last 2 Depeche Mode Nights. The Design on the backside is like a postcard - so the people can send it to their friends etc.
